The holidays are always a blend of celebration and challenge for anyone striving to nourish their body and soul. You’re here because you want more: encouragement, easy ideas that work, and a safe space to grow, free from judgment, free from endless ads. This month, let’s celebrate small wins, enjoy festive flavors, and keep moving forward, together.

Your 3-Day Healthy Holiday Plan

Jumpstart your December with this simple plan, great whether you’re hosting, traveling, or just need a reset.

Day 1

  • Breakfast: Gingerbread Pancakes (almond flour, ginger, cinnamon) & warmed berries
  • Lunch: Hearty Vegetable Soup (bone or veggie broth, mushrooms, kale, carrots, onion, fresh ginger)
  • Dinner: Acorn Squash stuffed with quinoa, cranberries, pecans, and herbs

Day 2

  • Breakfast: Cinnamon Oatmeal topped with sliced apples and walnuts
  • Lunch: Souvlaki Pita (grilled chicken or tempeh, dollop of tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, onion)
  • Dinner: Sheet Pan BBQ Chicken (or chickpea “chicken”) with roasted sweet potato and Brussels sprouts

Day 3

  • Breakfast: Spinach & Tomato Omelet with feta
  • Lunch: Kale Salad (lemon-olive oil, radish, avocado, toasted nuts)
  • Dinner: Baked Salmon or Tofu with cucumber-dill salad and sweet potato mash

Full Shopping List

Produce:

  • Ginger root, apples, spinach, kale, broccoli, radish, avocado, cucumber, carrots, mushrooms, sweet potato, Brussels sprouts, acorn squash, mixed berries, lemon, lime

Proteins/Alternatives:

  • Eggs, chicken breast, salmon fillet, chickpeas/tempeh, tofu, Greek yogurt, protein powder

Grains/Staples:

  • Oats, almond flour, quinoa, pita bread

Pantry:

  • Raw nuts (walnuts, pecans), dried cranberries, cinnamon, olive oil, bone or veggie broth

Extras:

  • Feta, Greek yogurt, tzatziki, fresh and dried herbs

Festive Recipes Worth Sharing

Gingerbread Pancakes

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup nut milk

Stuffed Acorn Squash

  • 1 acorn squash, halved
  • 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  • 2 tbsp dried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp chopped pecans
  • Fresh thyme and sage

Holiday Berry Smoothie

  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1 scoop JuicePlus Complete vanilla protein powder
  • Dash cinnamon & chia seeds

Kale Salad

  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1/2 avocado
  • Sliced radish
  • 2 tbsp toasted nuts
  • Juice of 1 lemon, drizzle olive oil
