Halloween Healthy Exercise Challenge

This week, let’s get moving with a spooky twist! Here’s a fun exercise challenge you can do while watching your favorite Halloween movies:

Halloween Movie Workout:

  • Jog in place during the opening scene.
  • When someone yells “Boo!” do a 30-second plank.
  • If someone screams, do 10 sit-ups.
  • Every time you see a ghost, do 5 squats.
  • When someone says “Halloween,” do 5 push-ups.
  • If the group splits up, do 10 lunges.
  • For every time you hear a creepy sound, do 10 jumping jacks.

Invite your family or friends to join in for extra fun and motivation!

Healthy Halloween Treat Prep

Instead of traditional sugary snacks, try these healthier alternatives that are just as festive:

  1. Green Apple Monsters: Slice green apples and spread almond butter on them. Add mini marshmallows or raisins for eyes.
  2. Banana Ghosts: Cut bananas in half, dip them in yogurt, and use mini chocolate chips for eyes.
  3. Veggie Skeletons: Arrange cut veggies into a skeleton shape on a platter and serve with hummus as “bones.”
  4. Pumpkin Yogurt Parfaits: Layer Greek yogurt with pumpkin puree and granola for a delicious treat.
